Shopping in Old Porvoo
In Porvoo, one can shop in all kinds of places. The old part of Porvoo is a charming area dominated by shops and boutiques, most of them small and personal. The buildings alone are often attractions, and many of them reflect the personalities of their owners. The most popular shopping streets are Välikatu and Jokikatu, but shops can be found on other streets nearby, as well, all the way to the southern side of the Mannerheiminkatu bridge and also to the old railway station area.
Most of the boutiques are open year-round on weekdays from about 10am to 5pm and Saturdays from about 10am to 2pm, as well as noon to 3pm on Sundays in summer and before Christmas.
